We would like to thank you all for casting your vote for the proposed DCCR Amendments. 75.70% of the neighborhood had taken the time to cast their vote during the eligible voting period of November 1, 2024 12:01a - February 28, 2025 11:59p.
For such a change to take effect, 67% of the neighborhood would have had to vote 'yes' in favor of the change.
67% of 1,346 homes is 902 votes.
The official results from Big Pulse have been received and it is our privilege to announce that for the first time, the DCCRs will be changed –– 945 votes were received in favor of the changes. While 945 is 70.20% of Brandon Oaks, not all of Brandon Oaks voted, resulting in 92.83% of voters, voting in favor of the changes.
The final results were as follows:
• Yes, I approve the proposed changes. (945)
• No. I deny the proposed changes. (73)
Total Votes Received: 1,018
Next steps: The board will provide the final count to the lawyer, who will begin the paperwork and filing process with the court. Once the final revised documentation has been received, it will be uploaded into the Cusick homeowner portal.
