File a Report

Report Landscaping, Sidewalk, or other General Maintenance

Send the address and/or nearest address or landmark, with a photo, to our on-site manager, Donnie at BrandonOaksBoard@CusickCompany.com (this way Donnie gets it and the five board members get a copy as well).

Please note that Donnie will need a location and a visual/image of the reported area so that he can direct the report to our Parks & Landscaping committee, and/or the city itself depending on the area in question.

Report Speeding, Driving, Loud Cars, etc.

Please keep in mind that Brandon Oaks does not own the streets within the neighborhood. The streets are public, owned by the town.

Our Public Safety Committee recommends that you make note of:
– Car Make/Model
– License plate if possible
– Time of Day

If a pattern is detected (i.e. every day around 6-7p), then they can use that information to try and get a patrol officer during that time. Please note that they need something to work with. The more and better information give, the better chance something can be done.

Brandon Oaks does not have the say-so on if speed bumps can be installed; the state will put in a traffic study and if their thresholds are not met, a speed bump will not be installed. This is not a quick resolution.

You can report speeders and reckless drivers to our Union County Sheriffs office at 704.283.3789.

Annoymous Tips
Or, you can submit an anonymous tip online through the Union County, NC Sheriff's Office's free app, which you can download on the Apple Store or through Google Play.

Report Barking Dog(s)

Our neighborhood is dog friendly.

If you feel you need to send a complaint or awareness in for pets, please send those requests to Donnie at brandonoaksboard@cusickcompany.com.

Please note that multiple complaints from more than one surrounding neighbor may need to be made for a dog barking to be considered a nuisance. Please submit proof if possible, but send your concern regardless to Donnie's attention.

Report Loose Dog(s)

Email any/all documentation of the event that you have directly to Donnie & the Board at: BrandonOaksBoard@CusickCompany.com. This includes pictures/video, address of the incident and/or property of the dog, etc.

While there is no statewide leash law in North Carolina, the Town of Indian Trail states in their Under §92.02 Restrictions and Prohibited Acts, C. Restraint of Dogs:

It shall be unlawful for any person owning or having possession, charge, custody or control of any dogs to allow his or her animal to run at least within the corporate limits of the Town. Dogs which are not in a properly secured private property or vehicle shall be restrained by a leash, secure enclosure, fence, invisible fence or similar effective device unless said dogs are on the owner's property and are under the continuous supervision and control of the owner or members of the owner's family.
